PERFORMING SECTION
GRAND PRIX “CROWN OF STARS”
There will be 9 Grand Prix “Crown of Stars” awarded to the best performer of the following specialities, regardless of age (minimum score: 95)
3 for the Best Instrumentalist
1 for the Best Chamber group
1 for the Best Singer
1 for the Best Conductor
1 for the Best Orchestra / Band
1 for the Best Choir
The winner of each Grand Prix “Crown of Stars” award will receive:
– 1 “Crown of Stars” trophy.
(1 trophy for group in chamber music or band or choir sections)
– 1 e-Diploma.
– 1 CD digital publishing with KNS CLASSICAL.
– Jury can consider the access of the winners to a PR company, music agent or mentoring.
– Featured display in the “HALL OF FAME” of Music and Stars Awards website.
– Interviews / articles in the Music and Stars Magazine. (The permanence in the Magazine will be decided at the editor’s discretion. Minimum: one year).
– Special awards may be granted based on the jury recommendations.
GOLD STAR
– 1 e-Diploma
– Display in the “HALL OF FAME” of Music and Stars Awards website. (With picture)
– Interviews / articles in the Music and Stars Magazine. (The permanence in the Magazine will be decided at the editor’s discretion: Minimum: one year).
– When appropriate, jury can consider the access of the winners of the gold star to a record label or mentoring.
– Possibility of acquiring the trophy itself.
– Special awards may be granted based on the Jury recommendations.
SILVER STAR / BRONZE STAR
– 1 e-Diploma.
– Display in the “HALL OF FAME” of Music and Stars Awards website. (Name)
– Interviews / articles in the Music and Stars Magazine. (The permanence in the Magazine will be decided at the editor’s discretion. Minimum: one year).
– Possibility of acquiring the trophy itself.
“HONOR MENTIONS” can be as well awarded, following juries recommendations.
*ALL OTHER CONTESTANTS WILL RECEIVE A PARTICIPATION E- DIPLOMA.
BEST PERFORMANCE AWARDS
The competition has set several “Best performance” awards for the following styles of music:
Ancient Music / Baroque / Classical / Romantic / Impressionist / Nationalistic / Modern (s.XX—XXI) / Traditional / Original (own compositions)
As well as for the following musical forms:
Prelude / Prelude and Fugue / Etude / Sonata / Variations / Concerto / Symphony / Song / Opera Aria
Those awards will be given to the best performance of a specific style and/or musical form in within the same age category, and with a minimum mark of 91/100.
To opt to this special prize, the contestant must apply specifically to the special prize “Best performance award”
Contestants will receive a recognition and an E-Diploma on this achievement as well.
SPECIAL AWARDS:
Special awards may be granted following the recommendations of some of the members of the jury who can offer:
– Concert opportunities.
– Music Business Consultation by branding expert.
– Possibility of Interviews and reviews in classical music magazines.
– Scholarships for Academies and Master-Classes.
– Scholarships for online master classes.
*Due to COVID situation in certain countries, live activities (concert/master classes…) may be restricted or postponed to coming years.
BEST TEACHER / BEST MUSIC SCHOOL AWARD
Music and Stars Awards aims to give tribute and reward to outstanding educators, for the eminence and effectiveness of their teaching and their leadership on encouraging and preparing young artists to a music career.
The BEST TEACHER AWARD and the BEST MUSIC SCHOOL AWARD will be given to the teachers and schools with the most outstanding students in the competition, in the performing section.
The BEST TEACHER AWARD and the BEST MUSIC SCHOOL AWARD will consist of:
– 1 e-Diploma.
– Interviews / articles in the Music and Stars Magazine.
There will be “Best Teacher Awards” according to the following specialities:
